[October 28, 2026 (Wednesday)] Samkwang Co., Ltd.'s R&D Center held a workshop on “2027 R&D Center Operations and Implementation Plans” at the Lifelong Learning Village in Gunpo.

A total of 16 employees, including R&D Center Director Dongcheol Seong, attended the workshop, which was organized to share the R&D Center's operational direction for 2027 and develop key initiatives and detailed implementation plans for each team.

The workshop began with Director Seong sharing the key missions and operational direction he had established for the R&D Center in 2027. With the aim of strengthening the R&D system and enhancing technological competitiveness, he presented four key priorities: strengthening R&D capabilities and securing external funding, improving work efficiency through AI, stabilizing the prototype (Proto) development system, and developing next-generation technologies to enhance competitiveness in securing new orders.

This was followed by presentations on key initiatives from the Design Development Team, Testing and Certification Team, and Planning and Operations Team.

The Design Development Team shared plans to improve design efficiency through AI technology and strengthen development capabilities, while the Testing and Certification Team presented plans to enhance testing and certification capabilities to ensure product reliability. The Planning and Operations Team proposed operational plans for systematic R&D management and increased collaboration between departments.

Participants then held team-based discussions to further develop each department's initiatives. They reviewed implementation plans and schedules for key tasks and exchanged various opinions on collaboration requirements and areas for improvement in their work processes.

In particular, the workshop focused on strengthening AI utilization capabilities, improving R&D processes, and promoting close collaboration between departments, exploring ways to enhance the R&D Center's work efficiency and expertise.

Director Seong emphasized the importance of each researcher's professional expertise, particularly strengthening their ability to utilize AI. He also encouraged the teams to actively implement their plans and continuously monitor progress to ensure that the plans lead to tangible results.

Through this workshop, Samkwang Co., Ltd.'s R&D Center shared its key operational direction and implementation plans for 2027. The center plans to continue strengthening its technological capabilities and improving its R&D system to lay the foundation for future growth.
