Samkwang October 2026 Monthly Meeting Author사내기자 Date2026.10.01 Hit24

On Thursday, October 1, 2026, Samkwang held its October Monthly Meeting.

During the Improvement Proposal Award ceremony, Yangtae Kim of the Manufacturing Team, Vietnam Business Division, received the award in recognition of his contribution to reducing raw material usage and improving product quality through mold structure improvements.

At the Mentor-Mentee Partnership Ceremony, a total of six mentees were presented with business card holders and smile badges.

During his monthly address, CEO Jinwoo Kim shared the following message:

“The ship called Samkwang continues to move forward. Moving forward means not standing still, but continuously taking on new challenges.

In addition to our existing businesses in mobile devices, automotive, medical devices, and drones, Samkwang is now taking on a new challenge in the field of AI.

New businesses require significant investment, as well as new talent and technologies. At the same time, we must continue to perform well in our existing businesses. If we strengthen our existing businesses while steadily expanding into new areas, the range of opportunities available to us will become much greater.

I am always thinking about how we can keep the ship called Samkwang moving forward smoothly.

One of the most important factors in that journey is your individual capabilities.

If there is an area where you are lacking, you need to study and make that knowledge your own. The knowledge and experience you build will ultimately become your capabilities and lead to better performance. Studying is not something you do only when you have spare time. You need to make time for it, even if that means using every available moment.

This is especially true when it comes to AI. We should not simply ask AI a few questions, look at the answers it gives us, and conclude, ‘This must be the answer.’

We need to become people who can identify errors in AI-generated answers and independently verify and determine whether those answers are truly correct.

Do not assume that an answer is correct simply because AI provided it. We need to learn how to use AI effectively by asking better questions—not just once, but ten times or even a hundred times if necessary.

I have also continued to emphasize the importance of inventory management.

Inventory is necessary, but the profitability of a company depends greatly on how effectively we can reduce and manage it. We have already made significant improvements, but there is still more we need to reduce.

Inventory management is not solely the responsibility of the Purchasing Department. Production and all other related departments must work together. During meetings, we need to examine every detail thoroughly, identify problems, and develop the ability to resolve them effectively.

There are now only three months left in this year. Let us make the most of the remaining months and work together to make 2026 an even better year than last year.

Thank you.”
