Hello!

I’m Hong Min, and I work in the Purchasing Division of Samkwang’s Manufacturing Support Purchasing and Sales Team.

My role in purchasing involves a wide variety of tasks.

If I had to narrow it down to two main areas, they would be:

1. Calculating the quantities of raw materials and components needed for product production, purchasing them, and managing inventory.

2. Negotiating with suppliers to adjust the unit prices of existing materials.

I believe

Among these, I believe “inventory management” is the most crucial aspect of the purchasing role.

This is because, after receiving orders from customers, we must purchase the necessary materials in advance to meet the order schedule so that production can begin smoothly.

Since production materials must be supplied promptly and on time, I believe inventory management of raw and auxiliary materials is truly vital in the purchasing role.

My hobbies are traveling and tennis!

I really love traveling, whether it’s domestically or abroad!

Meeting diverse people and having unique experiences while traveling is why I love it so much!

Tennis is a sport I’ve enjoyed for a long time. I’d say it’s my favorite sport and the one I’m most confident in. Lately, I haven’t been able to play as often due to my work schedule, but as I adjust to my new role, I plan to make time to play tennis at least once a week.
