[Wednesday, September 9, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. participated in the “2026 Gyeongbuk Youth Ieum Festa with Employment,” held at Daegu Catholic University.

The event was hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and organized by Daegu Catholic University and the Gyeongbuk Employers Federation. It was held over two days, from September 9 to 10.

At the Youth Policy Zone, Gyeongsangbuk-do Province, municipal and county youth centers, and organizations involved in youth policy provided opportunities for young people to learn about policies relevant to them and receive one-on-one consultations. The accompanying job fair brought together 30 leading companies from across Gyeongsangbuk-do, including those in the mobility and biotechnology sectors. Participating companies provided young job seekers with information about their businesses and recruitment opportunities, while also conducting on-site interviews and career consultations.

Samkwang also participated in the job fair, introducing its company and key business areas to local young people, sharing recruitment information, and communicating directly with prospective candidates.

Visitors to the Samkwang booth showed particular interest in the company’s products and business areas, the competencies it values when hiring entry-level employees, available positions, and work locations.

They also asked about the relevance of their academic majors to specific positions, the responsibilities they would take on after joining the company, training and career development for new employees, as well as the company’s organizational culture and employee benefits. Samkwang representatives answered these questions and provided clear, practical explanations of actual job responsibilities, the working environment, and the recruitment process.

A Samkwang employee who participated in the event said, “Although the time was limited, speaking with students from a wide range of academic backgrounds gave us a valuable opportunity to hear firsthand what job seekers are most curious about. I also realized how important it is for us to continue participating actively in recruitment events where we can meet young talent and provide them with useful information about our company and job opportunities.”
