[July 3 (Fri) to 4 (Sat), 2026] Twenty-eight Samkwang Co., Ltd. executives and employees participated in the “2026 AI Competency Enhancement Training for Industry Employees in the Gyeongbuk Region” program.

This training was conducted as part of the Gyeongbuk Regional Training Program for Industrial Employees, hosted by Gyeongsangbuk-do Province and Yeungnam University, and was designed to enhance participants’ AI application skills.

The training focused on hands-on exercises using AI and development tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Firebase, and Stitch AI. Participants used these tools to design an educational website and personally developed web pages and chatbots that included registration and login features, learning how to implement AI-based services.

Executives who attended the training stated, “After receiving two days of AI Vibe Coding training, I believe this experience has been a major turning point for Samkwang’s AI innovation,” adding, “I hope this isn’t the end—I hope we continue to develop our skills on our own so that we can create even better AI.”

Employees shared their thoughts, saying, “At first, AI and coding felt difficult, but after trying them out hands-on, I realized they can be fully utilized in our work,” and “I want to learn more about AI going forward and apply it in ways that are helpful in our day-to-day operations.”

Samkwang plans to continue expanding various training opportunities to enhance its employees’ digital transformation capabilities and enable them to proactively respond to changes in future industrial technologies, including AI.
