[Friday, June 26, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. conducted routine inspections of electrical equipment at its Plants 1, 2, 3, and 4. 

This inspection was carried out in collaboration with Hanseong Energy Solutions Co., Ltd., a specialized electrical engineering firm, and was organized to verify the stable operational status of key electrical equipment within the plants and to prevent electrical safety accidents.

The inspection began with visual inspections and load measurements, followed by inspections of low-voltage and high-voltage electrical equipment, infrared thermal imaging inspections of transformers, and other infrared thermal imaging measurements.

Specifically, the team checked the visual condition of key equipment—including service lines, busbars, circuit breakers, and transformers—as well as the floor and drainage conditions in the power receiving room and the condition of the switchgear cabinets. 

In addition, the team checked the insulation resistance, leakage current, and ground resistance of low-voltage switches and circuit breakers, and verified whether there was discoloration at the connection points of high-voltage equipment, damage to insulators, corrosion of metal fittings, the condition of lightning arresters, and overheating of extra-high-voltage equipment.

The inspection results confirmed that the electrical equipment at Plants 1, 2, 3, and 4 was all in good condition. 

Samkwang Co., Ltd. plans to continue verifying the condition of its equipment through regular electrical equipment inspections and maintain a stable production environment.
