[Monday, June 29, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. held its “Q2 2026 Occupational Safety and Health Committee Meeting.”

This committee meeting was organized to review quarterly improvements in occupational safety and health and share the status of regulatory compliance, with the aim of enhancing worker safety and health and creating a pleasant working environment.

The meeting was attended by Samkwang and Samkwang WinTech safety and health managers, employer representatives, employee representatives, and employee committee members, who engaged in in-depth discussions on various on-site issues.

Key topics included heat-related illnesses—a priority inspection item for the Ministry of Employment and Labor during the summer—sharing on-site temperature data, and plans for the repair and improvement of heating and cooling systems. In addition, participants shared information on major tasks to be carried out in the upcoming third quarter.

On that day, the safety and health managers stated, “It is most important that the matters discussed at the Occupational Safety and Health Committee lead to actual improvements on-site,” adding, “We will do our utmost to prevent safety accidents and improve the work environment through continuous communication with employee representatives and committee members.”
