[Thursday, June 4, 2026] Representatives from Tesla visited Samkwang Co., Ltd. to hold a business cooperation meeting.

The meeting was organized to introduce Samkwang’s current status and global production capabilities, review the progress of ongoing projects, and discuss opportunities for future collaboration. 

Tesla was represented by Kanchana Aarumugamangalam, Manager of the Purchasing Division, and Sai Rahul Kandula, Manager of the Purchasing Division. Samkwang was represented by Kim Cheol-soo, Global MD Division; Jeong Sun-baek, Global AD Division; Kim Hyung-tae, Director; Kim Jae-il, Executive Director of the Global Quality Team; and representatives from departments related to development, quality, sales, and new business.

The meeting began with an introduction to Samkwang’s major business areas and the status of its global production bases. Samkwang explained its domestic and international production infrastructure, manufacturing operations system, and customer response capabilities, highlighting its stable production base and accumulated manufacturing technology. The meeting also included discussions on the production capacity verification and quality response systems required for collaboration with Tesla.

This was followed by a review of ongoing projects. Attendees reviewed project progress and key issues, and exchanged opinions on future schedules and areas for improvement. 

Following the meeting, Tesla representatives toured Samkwang’s production sites—Factory 1 (mold, injection molding, assembly) and Factory 2 (injection molding, MCT, assembly)—to inspect the operation of processing equipment and the status of production quality control.

Through this meeting, both companies shared the status of ongoing projects and future directions for cooperation. They also agreed to continue their partnership based on stable project operations and smooth communication.

Samkwang will continue to execute projects reliably through communication with its clients and expand its reputation as a trusted global manufacturing partner.
