Samkwang Co., Ltd. June 2026 Monthly Meeting Author사내기자 Date2026.06.01 Hit23

On Monday, June 1, 2026, the June 2026 monthly meeting was held.

For the Improvement Proposal Award, Mr.  Uicheon Jeong of the Painting Department in the Vietnam Business Division was selected for his contribution to improving productivity through the improvement of painting jigs.

At the mentor-mentee pairing ceremony, a total of two mentees were presented with business card holders and “Smile” badges.

In his monthly address, CEO Jinwoo Kim stated, “Last week, we had an important guest visit the Vietnam Business Division. After touring the site, they gave a positive evaluation, noting that Samkwang is a great company that has built efficient automated lines based on many innovative ideas.

This visit reaffirmed the importance of **‘visible management’**.

Our automation equipment has been introduced in phases over several years. By marking the introduction dates for each piece of equipment, external visitors could easily understand that Samkwang has been steadily pursuing automation and is operating its existing lines well.

Management should be visible to everyone. Going forward, please ensure that the automation process and its results are clearly visible on the shop floor.

Next is inventory management.

We must manage inventory tightly by accurately tracking incoming shipments, production requirements, and the flow to the next process. I ask that each of you take responsibility for your assigned tasks and demonstrate a professional mindset by seeing them through to the end.

We also continue to emphasize the use of AI.

Other companies are already utilizing AI. We, too, must leverage AI in our work, led by our AI Innovation Team, and gradually implement AI automation. Please study to fill any gaps in your knowledge and develop the necessary competencies in your respective fields.

We will also further strengthen our performance-based incentives moving forward. We will ensure that those who develop their capabilities and deliver results are rewarded accordingly.

Although these are challenging times both internally and externally, if we do our best in our respective roles, we will see the results of our efforts.

“With the weather getting hotter, please take good care of your health, and let’s work hard together for the remaining month of the first half of the year,” he said.
