[Monday, May 18, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd.’s Global HR and General Affairs Support Team participated in an occupational safety and health support program led by the Industrial Safety and Mutual Prosperity Foundation, conducting safety and health consulting aimed at establishing a safe working environment and strengthening safety management capabilities.

The Industrial Safety and Win-Win Foundation operates various support programs aimed at preventing industrial accidents and improving occupational safety and health standards for domestic companies. This consulting session focused on diagnosing the occupational safety and health management system and conducting on-site safety inspections at Plant No. 4.

The occupational safety and health management system assessment consisted of 200 items across 8 categories, while the on-site safety inspection covered 300 items across 7 categories, enabling a systematic review of the entire workplace.

Key evaluation items included management roles and responsibilities, occupational safety and health organization, worker participation, risk assessment, emergency response plans, occupational safety and health training, ensuring safety and health in subcontracting and outsourcing, and evaluation and improvement. The on-site inspection focused on areas such as loading and unloading machinery and heavy-load handling, hazardous machinery and equipment, workplace management, non-routine work, firefighting and fire prevention, and health.

Based on the consultation results, Samkwang WinTech received positive evaluations regarding the foundation for establishing a safety and health management system, management’s commitment to safety and health, and field-centered safety inspection activities. In particular, it was confirmed that the sharing of safety and health policies, organizational operations, and regular inspection activities are being carried out in a stable manner.

Moving forward, Samkwang will continue to strive to strengthen its safety management system to create a safe working environment and establish a safety culture.
