The May 2026 Monthly Meeting was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.

At the appointment ceremony, Hyeongtae Kim, a Project Manager in the WinTech Business Division of the Global AD Department, was appointed as a Director.

Kim Hyun-seok, a Project Manager in the Quality Team of the WinTech Business Division, was selected as the winner of the Improvement Proposal Award for his contributions to improving productivity through the correction of process defects.

At the mentor-mentee pairing ceremony, a total of four mentees received business card holders and “Smile” badges.

In his monthly address, CEO Jinwoo Kim stated, “May is Family Month. On May 8, we will hold an event inviting the parents of our employees. I hope you will enjoy a meal with your families and take this opportunity to spend time together.

With AI, the results vary depending on how you ask questions and utilize it. We must ask questions repeatedly and review the results to find the best approach for our work. While the answers AI provides are not always correct, interpreting and applying them to our specific circumstances will greatly help enhance our competitiveness.

Inventory management is also a critical task. Each department should strive to maintain optimal inventory levels and implement more systematic and detailed management to ensure inventory days are kept to three days or less.

Samkwang is not resting on its laurels but is preparing new opportunities for future growth. As the company moves toward the future, all employees must also study together and develop the capabilities to adapt to change.

Evaluations must be conducted fairly, based on performance and capabilities. We will foster an organizational culture where high performers are recognized, and effort and results are reasonably rewarded. Through this, we will ensure that employees are more motivated and can grow.”
