[Tuesday, March 24, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. conducted an on-site inspection of Plants 3 and 4 to identify potential hazards and prevent safety accidents such as fires and explosions.

The inspection was attended by Kim Cheol-soo, CEO of the Global MD Division; Kwon Young-mo, Executive Director of the Global Development Team; Kim Jae-il, Executive Director of the Global Quality Team; and other staff members from the Global Management Support Division.

On-site, the team focused on verifying the placement and maintenance status of fire extinguishers, as well as the accessibility of evacuation routes and emergency exits. They also inspected electrical safety conditions, including fire and explosion hazards, grounding status, and any abnormalities in wire insulation. 

In addition, the accumulation of dust in dust collectors and ventilation fans was checked to assess fire prevention measures and the management of the work environment.

CEO Kim Cheol-soo emphasized the importance of establishing a response system to prevent fire and explosion accidents. Based on the inspection results, Samkwang Co., Ltd. plans to implement continuous management and supervision to ensure strict compliance with the requirements of the Industrial Safety and Health Act.
