[Thursday, January 8, 2026] Samkwang Co., Ltd. held a production contract signing ceremony with SG Bioscience (SGBS), formalizing the start of strategic cooperation between the two companies. 

SGBS is a global diagnostics company providing total diagnostic solutions and high-quality services for various infectious diseases. Attending the signing ceremony for SGBS were Executive Vice President Yoo Jae-young, Senior Vice Presidents Kim Tae-hyung and Kim Tae-hoon, and Director Ko Young-jin. Representing Samkwang were Global MD Division Kim Cheol-soo, Executive Director Jeong Young-jun of the Global Development Center, Managing Director Kwon Young-mo, Managing Director Kim Jae-il of the Global Quality Team, and Professional An Gyu-hyung of the Manufacturing Support Purchasing Sales Team.

Regarding this agreement, SGBS stated, “We believe we have successfully fastened the first button,” adding, “We hope to collaborate on a wide range of product lineups going forward and anticipate opportunities to work together from the earliest stages of development.”

Samkwang stated, “We have always prioritized quality and trust in our collaborations with global customers,” adding, “This production contract with SGBS will serve as a foundation for building a long-term, stable cooperative relationship in the bioscience field as well.”

Following the signing ceremony, a site tour was conducted. The tour included key production facilities, such as the new injection molding plant currently under construction, allowing participants to review Samkwang's production infrastructure and future expansion plans. 

Leveraging its accumulated precision injection molding technology and global production experience, Samkwang plans to provide the quality level and stable supply system required by SGBS. Moving forward, Samkwang aims to continue sustainable growth by building long-term partnerships with customers across diverse industries.
