[Friday, December 19, 2025] Samkwang Co., Ltd.'s Vietnam Business Division conducted a fire drill in collaboration with the fire department in the Bac Giang region to enhance fire response capabilities at the workplace.

The Vietnam Business Division conducts regular fire drills twice a year to ensure employee safety and improve on-site response capabilities. Approximately 100 employees participated in this drill. 

The drill comprised both theoretical instruction and practical exercises.

The theoretical session covered basic first aid procedures and featured a video on accident prevention, familiarizing participants with proper actions during a fire. The practical exercises included simulated emergency evacuation drills based on a hypothetical fire scenario, training on fire extinguisher usage, and hands-on fire suppression practice.

One participating employee shared, “It was conducted like a real situation, allowing us to physically learn evacuation routes and proper actions,” adding, “I thought I knew how to use a fire extinguisher, but actually doing it made me realize again the importance of repeated training.”

The Samkwang Vietnam Business Division plans to continue enhancing employee safety awareness through regular fire drills and safety training tailored to the site's specific conditions. It will also consistently strengthen its response systems for various emergencies, including fires.
