[Tuesday, December 23, 2025] A memorial service for the late Chairman Kim Young-po was held at the headquarters of Samkwang Co., Ltd. to mark the 19th anniversary of his passing.

Approximately 25 executives and employees attended the solemn ceremony to honor the achievements and legacy of the late Chairman.

The memorial service began with a brief introduction of the Chairman's biography, followed by offerings from executives, partner companies, and employees. 

The late Chairman Kim Young-po established Samkwang Industrial Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Samkwang, in June 1974. On December 1, 2000, he founded Samkwang Co., Ltd. based on the spirit of diligence, serving as CEO and laying the foundation for the company's growth.

Concluding the memorial rites, CEO Kim Jin-woo stated, "This year marks the 19th anniversary. We must continuously uphold the ‘unwavering will’ the Chairman always spoke of, and his dedication to striving for the employees and the company until the very end. I also carry in my heart the commitment to ‘always keep my promises’ to the employees who are working hard for our company. If all Samkwang employees carry forward the Chairman's spirit, we will grow into an even better company."

Samkwang plans to prepare for the future and achieve continuous growth and new leaps forward by making the late Chairman Kim Young-po's spirit of diligence a core corporate value.
