[Thursday, November 27, 2025] Samkwang Co., Ltd. was selected as an Excellence in Work-Life Balance Company at the ‘2025 Korea Work-Life Balance Excellence Awards Ceremony’ held at the International Conference Hall of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jung-gu, Seoul. 

This selection is a national-level evaluation jointly hosted by six agencies, including the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and organized by the Labor-Management Development Foundation. It involves a comprehensive review of a company's implementation of flexible work arrangements, efforts to reduce working hours, establishment of a culture of using annual leave, and examples of organizational culture improvement. 

This year, a total of 183 companies were selected as outstanding companies following document reviews and on-site inspections. Samkwang received high praise for enhancing the quality of life for its members and establishing a sustainable working environment.

Amid rapid organizational growth alongside global business expansion, Samkwang has continuously strengthened systems enabling employees to maintain work efficiency and personal life balance. It has driven comprehensive improvements in work practices by introducing tangible, on-the-ground initiatives such as promoting flexible work arrangements, reducing working hours, innovating work methods, enhancing organizational culture, and running annual leave utilization campaigns. 

A representative from the Global HR & General Affairs Support Team stated, “We believe this recognition reflects external acknowledgment of Samkwang's longstanding commitment to creating a people-centered work environment.
