Samkwang Co., Ltd.'s Vietnam Business Division recently provided emergency support for employees affected by Typhoon No. 10 in northern Vietnam.

The typhoon, which struck from September 27 to 30, brought torrential rains and strong winds to the regions of Hà Tĩnh, Nghệ An, and Thanh Hóa, causing significant damage. The residences of some employees working at Samkwang's Vietnam Business Division were also flooded and damaged.

In response, the Vietnam Business Division delivered relief funds to the affected employees. Division Head Song Jong-deuk, along with representatives from HR and relevant departments, personally conveyed their condolences to the affected employees at the headquarters conference room.

Subsequently, on Sunday, October 12, a total of 29 employees from the Vietnam Business Division visited the homes of employees who suffered significant flood damage to offer comfort and encouragement.

This visit took place in To Ray Village, Yen Binh District, Lang Son Province, where the majority of the affected employees reside. They helped clean and organize the homes of the affected employees, delivering relief funds along with various medicines and daily necessities, conveying their warm support.

The Vietnam Business Division expressed its commitment to continuing practical support to help employees overcome this difficult period together. Samkwang plans to continue prioritizing the safety and welfare of all employees, both domestic and international, as its foremost value, fulfilling its responsibility as a global company that grows together even amid challenges.
