On Tuesday, August 19, 2025, Samkwang Co., Ltd. held a meeting at its headquarters to explore possibilities for cooperation to enter the Egyptian market, inviting key figures such as the chairman of the Korea-Egypt Development Association, the secretary-general of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, and the representative of Sports and Ventures.

On that day, Samgwang Co., Ltd. was CEO Kim Jin-woo, Kim Cheol-soo, Head of Global MD Division, Song Ho-yeol, Senior Vice President of Global Management Support, and Choi Jin-young, Senior Vice President of Global New Business Division, who discussed potential collaboration strategies.

During the meeting, Samgwang introduced the company and shared information on the current state of the Egyptian market, and discussions were held on the potential for entering the Egyptian market with various product lines, including drones, payment terminals, and electronic cigarettes. 

In particular, the attendees had the opportunity to examine the products directly and listen to detailed explanations on how Samgwang's technology is applied to each product.

A Samkwang official said, “Through this meeting, we were able to explore specific opportunities for mutual cooperation between South Korea and Egypt,” adding, “We plan to actively pursue business expansion in Egypt by creating new growth engines based on our global network.”

This cooperation discussion is expected to serve as an opportunity for Samkwang to further expand its presence in the global market and seek new growth opportunities based on its local partnership in Egypt.
