Samkwang USA Conducts Customized Training for Expatriates and Local Employees to Improve Multicultural Workplace Culture and Production Efficiency Author사내기자 Date2025.08.01 Hit33



[Samkwang USA's Global HR Support Team and U.S. TF Team staff conducted customized training for expatriate and local employees in Korea. 


The expatriates were provided with training on key labor regulations and workplace culture to enhance their understanding of the U.S. corporate culture and legal environment that values diversity and inclusion. 

In particular, expatriates were trained on workplace discrimination and harassment, types of sexual harassment, real-life examples and penalties, cyberbullying, workplace etiquette in a multicultural environment, language to watch out for, social gatherings, understanding the American way of communicating, and disability protection laws.


Meanwhile, local workers were trained to improve efficiency and working conditions on the assembly line floor. 

The training emphasized the need for all employees to work together to achieve production goals, centered on “achieving team goals.” 

In addition, key policies related to assembly line operations were shared to improve efficiency and work quality. In particular, the employees were informed about the end of the day's work, adjustment of breaks, and opportunities to convert to full-time jobs when team goals are met, as well as on-site safety rules, dress code, and precautions during work.


The training was an opportunity to lay the foundation for stable production operations in the U.S. and smooth collaboration among multinational workers, and Samkwang plans to continue to build an efficient work environment and establish a workplace culture suitable for global sites through regular training.
