[On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Samkwang held a report on the status of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management activities together with Samsung Electronics' Center for Win-Win Cooperation at its headquarters. The meeting was organized to review the progress of ESG management tasks carried out in the first half of 2025 and share action plans for the second half of the year.

Samkwang began full-scale ESG management consulting on April 9, this year, and in the first half of the year, the company established and operated the ESG Promotion Committee, conducted a self-diagnosis of the three areas of environment (E), society (S), and governance (G) to understand the current level of ESG management, and established internal regulations and processes for each area.

In the second half of the year, Samkwang plans to further deepen its ESG activities by expanding environmental areas centered on carbon emission reduction, strengthening human and labor rights protection systems, and enhancing the activities of the Sustainability Management Committee. 

Samkwang aims to make ESG management a central pillar of corporate management by identifying and implementing tasks centered on the ESG Promotion Steering Committee and establishing a strategic response system for each area for long-term ESG.

Employees who participated in the report said, “ESG is a corporate responsibility for a sustainable future, not a short-term performance improvement.” They added, “We will continue to strengthen ESG management based on win-win, responsibility, and transparency through consulting collaboration.”
